Meet Alethia “Ally” Tippin, Project Manager at S2i2. Ally is a seasoned technical Project Manager with over 20 years of experience supporting federal government and commercial clients, as well as internal strategic projects. Her expertise spans both traditional and Agile project environments, with comprehensive knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) business practices and transport networks.
A dedicated professional, Ally holds several key certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), CompTIA Security+ CE, SAFe Agile Scrum Master (SSM), and previously, Certified Scrum Master (CSM). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018 and an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Northern Virginia Community College in 2012.
Throughout her career, Ally has distinguished herself by analyzing complex business requirements and creating bridges between technical staff, management, customers, and vendors. Her professional experience includes significant contributions as a Program Manager at Technica Corporation, where she supported critical contracts for the FBI and Navy, managed intricate operational support systems, and developed an innovative get-well plan that improved task order ratings.
During her time with S2i2, Ally has built on her extensive background in delivering practical and cost-effective solutions across diverse project environments, including providing critical project management support for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Service Provider (JSP). She has been able to continue her track record of excellence in technical project management by leveraging her extensive background in operational support systems, ERP implementations, and strategic project development to drive successful outcomes. Ally’s ability to navigate complex technical landscapes while maintaining clear communication has been a hallmark of her professional journey.
Ally has recently transferred to S2i2’s prime contract as the Technical Writing Team Project Manager for the United States Army Corps of Engineers Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) Strategic Consulting and Technical Writing. The team will be offering their technical writing services for all technical and engineering projects in USACE. Ally is working directly with the client, creating the program and organizing all ongoing requirements.
